Here is some information regarding our new HP Chromebook carts.

WARRANTY

At the time of this post, I have not been told that our new Chromebook carts include any type of accidental damage warranty.

If you have a cart that is having issues and there is no physical damage, use the RMA form to submit a warranty request online.

I also included the information for some of the fields you may not know, such as Company Name, Purchase Order #, Tracking #, and Date of Purchase.

All other information on the form will be your school site and contact information, etc.

DAMAGE REPAIR

School sites are responsible for the cost of any replacement parts due to damage.

I did find that Power Technologies sells replacement parts directly from their website. You can check out their main parts page here:

I also listed some of the more common parts below, but this is not everything they offer.

One of the most common damaged items will probably be the USB-C cables. I didn't see these listed on their parts page at the time of this post, but you can use any USB-C to USB-C cable that supports at least 65W Power Delivery (PD) and is around 40 inches (3.3 ft) or longer.

The pre-installed cables are about 40 inches long, but they don't have to be exact. Any extra slack can be routed through the dedicated slots in the back of the cart above the USB-C hub.
